Margherita Rasulo is PhD candidate at Inalco (Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales) in Paris with an international collaboration with the University of Naples L’Orientale. Her researches focus on the plural forms of political and infrapolitical participation and engagement of Kabyle women in contemporary Algeria in relation to the Berber identity reconstruction process.The main scientific themes of her work concern the study of minoritizing processes and the definition of the political field outside institutional politics. Lecturer in social and cultural anthropology and sociology at the University of Aix-Marseille since 2021, she is also an international partner member of the thematic network “GenderMed-Penser le genre en Méditerranée” at MMSH (Maison Méditerranéenne des Sciences de l’Homme) and member of the scientific committee of the Halqa – Association of young researchers in the social sciences on the modern and contemporary Muslim worlds.
